What Students Say About Us…

The physical changes I experienced: losing weight, my doctor telling me I no longer needed my thyroid medicine, increasing my energy and experiencing less brain fog and resting more- all of this was a direct result of the information and gentle push that Jenny gave me.

Jenny & Zarah are a dream team to learn from on all things Ayurveda and living a sustainable and healthy lifestyle. While the information is dense, they are able to teach in a clear and concise way that makes these ancient teachings digestible for modern living.

Going through Jenny's program has been an incredible blessing for me. I learned about nutrition, herbs, meditation, and earth tending. I started on a journey to really get to know myself. I have a long way to go still, but Jenny gave me the safety to take the first step and the tools to use for a lifetime of self-love and health.

Learning about Ayurveda and my doshic makeup has brought so much clarity and peace into my life. Zarah’s an amazing practitioner and guide—at once intelligent, kind, practical and thorough. Her teachings have helped me to get to know myself more deeply. She has offered great insight and practical tools for how to listen to my body, incorporate a grounding daily routine, hydrate properly, and adapt to my surrounding environment (especially by layering up and staying warm in colder seasons!!). These simple and accessible lifestyle shifts—curated by Zarah’s wisdom and talent—have totally changed my life. I’ve recommended her to my closest family, my boss, and my best friends. We’re all huge fans! So much gratitude for this amazing woman.

Zarah and Jenny's Vedic Chef Certification was EXACTLY what I had been searching for, I knew the minute I saw it I was going to sign up and it was an absolutely amazing and blessed experience. I really wanted to explore a deep dive into Ayurvedic diet & nutrition and this is exactly what this course offered from two incredibly talented and wise women who have dedicated their lives to holistic healing. Not only did we get an in-depth breakdown of vedic nutrition, but we got to experience a weekend cooking intensive where we put all we learned into practice. I have been able to take the skills and wisdom from this course and apply it to my catering offerings. I do not have enough praise for Jenny and Zarah's certification course - it will provide a solid Ayurvedic groundwork whether you want to learn these principles for yourself or use them in your practice or offerings. I wouldn't hesitate for a second to take the next level course with them if it is ever offered.

The Ayurvedic Chef certification course led by Zarah and Jenni was a life-changing educational experience. In the course, our teachers provided all of the ingredients and provided each of us our own cookbook, led hands-on cooking tutorials, held discussions/presentations, and introduced us to the principles and practices of Ayurvedic cooking. Since the course, I have been able to make incredible Ayurvedic dishes, adapt my eating rituals and lifestyle, and create serious healing for my own digestion. This course and the Ayurvedic wisdom they draw from can show you how to cook foods that heal, and how to eat mindfully and thoughtfully. Learning how to use food as medicine for yourself can create a ripple effect of healing in yourself, your family, and community. 100% recommend this course to anyone wanting to learn this vedic wisdom, make new friends, and have loads of fun learning.

I used many of the recipes, hands on techniques and incorporated the learned principles to better my life and health. I feel empowered with the knowledge of the healing properties of each plant. I am able to use that knowledge of the plant in making a medicinal medicine or culinary masterpiece. These women are at the forefront of a much needed philosophy of returning to our roots, back to appreciating and cultivating the land, using the earth's sacred plants to promote vitality, great health and an appreciation for the power that is around us and in us. My life is forever changed! Thank you!

I now have tons of recipes that nourish and heal, that make me feel better literally from the inside out. I have learned how to consciously up my daily ritual in every aspect of my life is in more in tune, grounded, and available for magic.

Jenny is an Ayurvedic Practitioner, Chef, Permaculture Designer, Herbalist, Yoga Instructor, and Abhyanga Massage Therapist.

Jenny was introduced to Ayurveda at a yoga teacher training 10 years ago and loved it so much that she enrolled in the San Diego College of Ayurveda. Jenny attended culinary school at the Midwest Culinary Institute in Cincinnati, Ohio. Then became a Certified Ayurvedic Chef at the Sivananda Yoga Farm in Grass Valley.

Jenny has been teaching Ayurvedic Cooking Classes and working with clients from around the globe to share this vast medicinal science through the work of our hands.

Jenny finds great joy in helping people learn about their dosha (constitution) and how their body and mind are made up of the 5 elements (Earth, Water, Fire, Air, Ether) in different combinations in each individual. One of the critical lessons in Ayurveda is finding out what your imbalances are and bringing them into balance to create optimal health and wellbeing. It is her mission to share the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda with as many people as possible, so they can feel lighter, brighter, and healthier than they ever have.

In 2021, she received her Permaculture Design and Herbalism Certification in Guatemala. Jenny currently helps grow food and medicine at Villa Kali Ma Women's Recovery Center in Carlsbad, CA. She loves to educate women on how to step into radical self-reliance in such a chaotic world.

Radhika Ponda, hails from India, a country which has given the world the ancient wisdom of Yoga and Ayurveda. In India, Yoga and Ayurveda are a way of Life. One practices the principles of Ashtanga Yoga (the 8 limbs of Yoga), especially the Yamas (social ethics) and the Niyamas (personal discipline) on a daily basis. Similarly, the elders in India rely on the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda (Knowledge of Life) on a daily basis and pass this knowledge on to the new generation. As seasons change, the food you eat and the herbs you take change too. Food is indeed medicine here. However, it must be in its purest form, full of Prana, and consumed in moderation, or else it is 'Ama,' or poison, to the body.

Radhika has blessed us with some of her amazing tumeric and golden milk mixes to use during our teachings in the immersion cooking portion of the class. Radhika will also be teaching a class on how to make traditional Golden Milk with her very own products!
